This class follows the style of yoga developed by Larry Schultz, which is rooted in the first and second series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Rocket Yoga is an intense physical practice that works with the nervous system, builds strength in both body and mind, and creates a transformative experience that makes practitioners feel refreshed. Students are encouraged to modify their postures according to their level of practice and physical abilities. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
Suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners with a consistent Vinyasa practice. This class builds on the necessary body stability acquired in Dynamic Level 1 classes to take on more challenging asanas and sequences. Classes are taught with modifications to allow an easy transition from Level 1 to Level 2. Full inversions may be included in these classes.
