Vivian discovered yoga in 2014 while studying in the UK, where it helped her overcome insomnia and anxiety. Since returning to Hong Kong in 2017, she has deepened her practice, finding bliss in the shared energy of group practice. Trained by Yogananth Andiappan and Samrat Dasgupta, Vivian further explored meditation and mental health through courses at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and Three Jewels New York. Her classes blend active asana sequences with meditation, focusing on balancing strength and flexibility.
Heart Opening Flow
This Specialised Class is all about heart-opening poses. This style of poses can be challenging for a lot of us, but with the correct preparation and approach, the results can be rewarding and motivating. Backbends are not just about flexibility, they are also about having strength in our back, core and legs so we can protect our spine and dive deeper into these postures with a sense of confidence and safety. During this flow, we will use different postures to explore the fundamental aspects needed to practice backbends safely and efficiently. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
Warm Detox Flow
Journey to Crow
In this class, we will help you to master your crow pose. Crow pose, or Bakasana, is a challenging arm balance that requires strength, balance, and focus. To master it, start in a squatting position, bring your knees onto the backs of your upper arms, shift your weight forward, and lift your feet off the ground. Keep your gaze forward and engage your core and arm muscles for balance. Gradually increase your hold duration and deepen your posture with practice.
Stretch Series: Neck and Shoulders
Stretching is vital to keep our body supple and our muscles healthy. This Healing Class is designed to help you open your body and increase your range of motion; each practice will target a specific area of the body.
Heart chakra flow
Chakras run along the spine and are centres of life force energy (prana) that are associated with
different physical and energetic areas of the body. In this class, we use awareness in poses and breathe to bring balance in our heart chakra. By opening our chest, we activate our heart chakra to reconnect to our intrinsic quality of love and compassion.
