Scottie experienced an epiphany after his first yoga class. He realised how extremely difficult it was to keep his natural breathing while maintaining harmonious equilibrium with the body and soul. Initially, Scottie practised yoga to relieve stress and negativity from work. Gradually, he was able to bring himself back to a better and healthier state of mind after each session of practice. His personal philosophy changed as well, as he incorporated yoga into his daily routine and used it to better understand himself and the world. The poses and breathing pattern now evolved into a beautiful dialogue between the body and the soul. Scottie has practised with Briohny Smyth and Dice lida-Klein. Not only did they teach Scottie to find stable and appropriate alignment, but they also helped him to discover endless passion and motivation. Scottie also studied Acrovinyasa with Claudine and Honza, who taught him how to connect with people. Scottie practises various styles of yoga and is constantly aware of the processes of getting into asanas correctly. There is no single correct formula in yoga, as each one of us is unique. The only way is to follow one’s heart when embarking upon the journey of yoga.
