As a qualified sport & exercise nutritionist, Maya knows that nutrition is integral to both physical & mental performance on or off the field. Maya encourages clients to ditch the ‘yo yo dieting’ cycle, or the ‘I’ll start on Monday’ mentality, and instead embrace long term sustainable practices, underpinned by client education. Her lifelong involvement in sport, and background as a strength and conditioning coach, allow her to understand the physiological demands of training and a busy schedule. Whatever the goal, Maya believes life is too short not to enjoy food & movement and believes health or performance goals should be met while enjoying the process. Maya’s Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: Performance nutrition, weight management, fat loss, body recomposition, nutrition education, improving relationships with food & body image. Qualification Highlights: • Post-graduate degree in Sport & Exercise Nutrition (Oxford Brookes university) • Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr) • Undergraduate degree in Nutrition (Sheffield Hallam university) • Registered Associate Nutritionist with the British Association for Nutrition (ANutr) • Trained in motivational Interviewing
