Evening Ritual Meditation
Students will be guided through a 30min meditation session wherein the breath is the primary tool. By resting the attention on the natural breath, the mind is trained to focus and connect to the present moment.
A non-vinyasa-based asana practice focused on connecting the body and mind with the purpose of increasing awareness and stability. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. Suitable for students with some yoga experience looking to have an invigorating experience. No full inversions are included in these classes. Some preparations for inversions and Level 2 postures may be introduced, with options for Level 1 students to ease the transition from Level 1 to Level 2 classes.
Crystal Singing Bowls
During this specialised class, students will experience the powerful resonance of Singing Bowls while being guided in meditation. These singing bowls are specifically crafted to produce a resonance that is not only heard, but also felt; such resonance can positively affect the Chakras (energy centres) and help purify the body’s energy system. Some pranayama and chanting will be included.
Suitable for anyone seeking to calm their minds and revitalise their bodies.
Detox & Digest
A grounding practice focused on stimulating the digestive system to aid detoxification of the body. Students will experience sequences of poses including twists, bends and stretches that massage the digestive organs. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. Suitable for students looking to have an energising experience. No full inversions are included. This virtual session is a shortened version of our 45-minute in-person class.
Immunity Booster Yoga
Our immune system is affected by our lifestyle: what we eat, the quality of our sleep, and our physical and mental state. This class helps us to relax the body and mind so that our body can naturally boost its immunity. Specific poses will be practised to help stimulate the thymus gland, aid in detoxification of the body, and calm the mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. Suitable for anyone looking to restore their body and mind with gentle physical effort.
Universal Yoga 1
This class follows the tradition developed by Andrey Lappa, which weaves modern western science and ancient eastern wisdom together, and seeks to influence the practitioners’ life on and off the mat. Universal Yoga combines the practice of vinyasa with pranayama, visualisation, mantra, mudra and meditation. These elements are carefully sequenced in a symmetrical and progressive manner, making students feel a strong sense of balance and serenity at the end of each class. The arrangement of the mats in this class may or may not be cross-shaped.
A dynamic practice focused on moving the body along with the breath. The experience in this class is one of fluidity and motion. Poses are generally held for short periods of time and emphasis on the rhythm of the breath is encouraged with the purpose of aligning and focusing the mind. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included. Suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners with a consistent Vinyasa practice. This class builds on the necessary body stability acquired in Level 1 classes to take on more challenging asanas and sequences. Classes are taught with modifications to allow an easy transition from Level 1 to Level 2. Full inversions may be included in these classes. This virtual session is a shortened version of our 45-minute in-person class.
