When Liz was a busy as a programmer in 2005, she could only relieve her mental pressure by going to the gym. By chance, her friend took her to a yoga class in the fitness centre. She went to yoga simply to relax and maintain her figure so that she would look good in auditions but later discovered that yoga is much more than just physical exercise. And thus, her yoga journey began. Liz feels fortunate to have met many excellent teachers at every stage of practice. Chops inspired her to move away from a purely physical approach to a deeper energetic level, embracing subtle body movements. After being exposed to Ashtanga in 2011, she began Mysore practice. Hans, Margret, Rob, Ethan and Xin'an – each teacher has given her guidance at every turn and taught her how to practise intelligently.
