Deep stretch focuses on specialised active stretching, targeting different primary muscle groups. Class begins with warm-up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles for stretching. Then stretching poses are held for a few minutes, allowing the body to experience the full intent of the pose. Some pranayama, chanting and meditation may be included.
