Mike is from New Zealand where he has worked in the fitness industry for 3 years, teaching group fitness classes for Les Mills Club in Hamilton, and working in the club providing members with service and motivation, and helping new members start their new lifestyle with knowledge and inspiration. His personal fitness interests are in weights training, aesthetic training, functional core strength, nutrition and mental wellness, and his teaching journey began with Les Mills BODYBALANCE™ which he is most passionate about for its holistic succinctness. This has naturally expanded into other group fitness programmes like RPM™ and BODYPUMP™. His biggest sporting achievements were made in the pool, representing his schools, working as a swim instructor in New Zealand, and taking part in New Zealand ocean swim races. Mike loves outdoor fitness, as well as relaxing pastimes with music, movies, and art. He is also a graphic designer.
