Lucas started Artistic Gymnastics at the age of 7 and continued until he was 22, representing the state in official and unofficial competitions and practising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo at the same time. He also coached and competed in Artistic Gymnastics from 2006 to 2015.
