As a student, Vincent joined his school's canoeing and dragon-boating club, which helped expose him to the gym. From being a lanky and scrawny teenager, Vincent gained greater confidence in his body as he developed a stronger and more muscular physique. Over the years and even throughout his rigorous university years and into adult working life, Vincent continued his disciplined routine of daily gym training. Passionate about all things related to health and fitness, he has acquired extensive knowledge through gym experience and reading literature on human muscular physiology, anatomy, and weightlifting exercises. For Vincent, fitness is an investment in oneself; with physical strength, one can engage in whatever activities one desires. Life becomes much more enjoyable with adequate strength, agility, and body flexibility. He added that no matter where one is on the fitness spectrum, one can always strive to improve their physical self and achieve a better body state. He values a balanced life that includes the physical, mental, social-emotional, and aesthetic aspects. Still, the key to enjoying life in all its varied domains is physical health. Vincent had been teaching Physics in JC, followed by several years of leading schools as a vice-principal. He decided to leap into the fitness industry as a personal trainer because he believes gym training is universally beneficial regardless of age. He is excited to share his expertise with clients on proper form and technique for resistance and strength training to build muscular strength and endurance and help others achieve their fitness goals towards a more balanced and healthier lifestyle.
