Hong Kuang was always active growing up, being on the track and field team during primary school and the basketball team in secondary school. But like any other “active Asian child”, he didn’t know much about nutrition and was constantly eating insufficiently, which made him scrawny and the target of mockery from other kids. It wasn’t until his polytechnic days that one of his friends dragged him along to the gym. Hong Kuang started to fall in love with lifting weights and gain a better understanding of nutrition as he began to see changes in his physique. Gradually, Hong Kuang also developed an interest in bodybuilding. After his National Service, Hong Kuang decided to become a Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach. Having been through that stage of low self-confidence, he could utliise his personal experience with others who were insecure about their physique. At the same time, Hong Kuang took his bodybuilding journey to the next level by participating in local physique competitions where he won 1st place back-to-back in 2019 and 2020 and clinched the overall champion title in 2020. With his years of cumulative expertise and knowledge, Hong Kuang is a competent and fun coach/trainer who will guide those keen to start their fitness journey!
