Shivam was introduced to yoga for the first time by his yoga teacher father Anil who put Shivam into asana practices from childhood. During his early days of yoga, Shivam participated in various yoga competitions and won many championships. Shivam was also keen on sports in general such as cricket, martial arts, karate, gymnastics, roller skating, track & field – and obtained gold, silver & bronze medals in many of them. After finishing school, he went in 2012 to one of the oldest and most renowned yoga universities in the world – Kaivalyadhama Health & Yoga Center in India – for his post-grad diploma. Shivam not only expanded his practical and theoretical knowledge but also gained a deeper connection to yoga and thus decided to make yoga his career. As a yoga teacher in India, he conducted a lot of Yoga Training camps for the Indian Army, the police, Border Security Forces, school teachers, children and universities. In 2014, Shivam moved to Vietnam with an international company where he was managing yoga studios as well as teaching classes and workshops to students that included celebrities and bigwig chief executives. He earned accolades such as Best Employee several times. Always an innovator, Shivam makes classes knowledgeable, challenging and funny through different styles of sequences that are adaptable for all practitioners. His classes are well liked because students find them valuable, pleasurable and leave feeling blissful & satisfied.
