Nirbhay grew up watching his grandfather practising asana in an Indian family where meditation was an integral part of life. He studied at SVYASA, specialising in yogic science and therapy. His focus is on posture alignment, breathing techniques, and the spiritual aspects of yoga practice. He particularly enjoys teaching classical yoga, believing that advanced poses and variations naturally come once the foundation is strong. Nirbhay aims to change the common misconception that equates yoga solely with flexibility. He emphasises that yoga goes beyond body mobility, blending strength, endurance, balance, calmness, and mindfulness. He hopes yoga practitioners truly feel the change in their body, experience rejuvenation of the mind, and enjoy the journey of self-discovery.
